"Hope & Change"
...Obama, and his metaphoric polices seem real to some people. Dangerous to Free Enterprise and Individualism. Regulating wealth expands poverty. And has the opposite effect, of what is has recently been described as a "level playing field" and does not achieve or meet the demands of an alienated class of people, manipulated, maligned then ultimately believing what they have been told. That belief is, that there shortcomings and there failings, are a result of greed by others. Instead of keeping pace and making the constant corrections needed to maintain contemporary or more sophisticated lifestyle.

Music & Art
Illustrated expression and musical composition has never been divided by a fine line.
The two mediums have always been intertwined. Also they have molded Culture and refined the human experience. With the advent recorded sound vinyl records have always gave special presentation to the music you listen to. It has started trends, in fashion, attitude and social conscience.
Vinyl records, and the artwork on the covers have always been special. The relationship such as; "The Velvet Underground" together with "Andy Warhol" or art students from Ohio, known as "Devo" who have contributed to this relationship. Also to music videos' a genre that has had a tremendousness influence on the culture at large, aspects of which where I wouldn't even know where to begin...Except maybe with, well (Here it Comes), MTV
One way to promote an album, was with a little bit of flare or abstract expression that was out of ordinary. Giving the boring and conventional standard black discs, just something more than just music. Picture Discs, was an exciting way for the listener to experience music. For the collector it added just a little more. One being value, some rare and others not so much. The digital format, known as compact discs can also can be produced in the same way. But like some may say, size does matter. One aspect of the compact discs, is a slight flaw. The detail of the artwork is difficult to see as well as the booklet insert.
Vinyl is making a come back, with me it has never really left. It's popularity is growing once again; many old classics are being reissued, not just in CD format, but there original vinyl form. Yard sales, Flea markets and used record shops are the place to go. So spend a day just shopping, even if it's for an old copy of The Velvet Underground or John Coltrane. So, I'm going to help promote the growth of this great format and continue buying and collecting them. New or used, they are all great treasures...
Next time, I'm going to explore the the great world of turntables, AKA "Phonographs"

Controlling a Culture
Where is the shame, when publicly displaying one's hypocrisy to advance an agenda or control a culture. Popular thought or opinion is not always shared, but groomed. Cloaked with terms such as common sense, in or out of the main stream. Terms meant alienate and intimidate the sensibilities of people who rely and are dependent on a system, that illustrates a vision of despair if you consider an alternative idea. Emotions can often overrule logic and "Main Stream" terms characterized as progressive thought, putting emphasis on adolescent idealism. An unrealistic almost Utopian existence could prevail if certain concepts are acknowledged.
Individualism is easily compromised by temptation and give in to there self interests represented by popular culture

Osama ☪
Revenge is not Justice. Revenge is Primitive custom and endeavor, and belongs in the past with other biblical judgments and concepts.
Another is Martyrdom, that is usually fallowed by the violent act of vengeance. set off a series of events that continues until one or the other is destroyed or evolves. Capitulation then peace ☮

"UBL"...Osama bin Laden, his death means nothing to me. "Revenge" is is not a virtue and it's not a value that I posses. This is not Justice...But it is petty. The jubilation will subside, and our fight and theres will continue. But no one really cares much about what I think...Oh, and the real pettiness has NOT even begun yet...The assertions, and the preposterous accusations between American citizens, within many different levels government leadership and it's various operatives within the news media....Watch and listen, it is going too get interesting.

Re Vinyl
DJs and and a handful of enthusiasts are breathing life into a pure form of recorded sound. Vinyl records have introduced it self to a new generation of musical fanatics. The DJ has become a Star not just at clubs, but large an supper arenas. Talent like "Grand Master Flash" to "Paul vanDyk" and "Underworld".
But the old school people , like my self have found light at the end of a narrow and dark tunnel. Looking and finding original and sometimes remastered music reissued on pressed vinyl records. A lot of Websites and independent record shops are slowly filling there shelves with this great medium, along with millions off used and rare records.
Late 1973,early 74 I bought a copy of "Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon". Many days and nights listening, (Often with headphones) the disc and the jacket wore out. Commemorating the Thirtieth anniversary of that release, the "Floyd" has re-mastered and released that very Masterpiece. On virgin vinyl with the very same posters and two 4x6 in. stickers. The best value I found was on "Amazon.com", though many online sites carry it. ♫
